The following is a press release from the Framingham Democratic Town Committee
FRAMINGHAM – On Sunday night, January 8, the Framingham Democratic Town Committee will be returning to its traditional meeting space at the function room at the Framingham Green Apartments, 136 Maynard Rd. from 7 to 9 p.m., for its monthly meetings.
All Democrats are welcome to attend and participate in the meeting. The Committee will hear from Rep. Jack Lewis, as he discusses his plans for his freshman year as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives. In addition to this, there will be a discussion of plans for the February Town Democratic Caucus, as well as the March Candidates’ and Issues Forum Breakfast.
The agenda also includes a discussion of constructive ways to stay vigilant, engaged and focused, and the discussion and vote of a final by-laws amendment by the Elected and Life Members of the Committee.
This event will provide an excellent opportunity to socialize and have light conversation with the political leaders and candidates who will be present.
Each time the Town Democratic Committee meets, the members show their support for a local charity. Members are asked to bring a monetary donation to be used for the purchase of a new toaster for the Pathways Shelter. In addition, members are encouraged to bring light refreshments to contribute to the food/snack table.
