Rockets Defeated Flyers 7-1

FRAMINGHAM – The Rockets fired up a lot of scoring against the Framingham High girls ice hockey team Wednesday afternoon at Loring Arena. The Flyers lost to Needham High 7-1.

Framingham is now 1-1 on the season, under new head coach Mitch Mortali.

Freshman Georgia Parker scored the lone goal for Framingham. She now has two goals this season. Katie Puumala had the assist on the goal.

Senior goaltender Emma Lowry made 39 saves, in the loss for Framingham.

Ironically, all three were teammates and standouts on the Framingham High field hockey team this fall.

Next up for the Flyers is Dedham on Friday.
