5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Thursday, December 22

1 The Heritage Gallery at the Callahan Center will be open today for last minute holiday gifts.

The Gallery will be open today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features hand-made art, pottery, scarves, jewelry and more from MetroWest artists and crafters.

The Callahan Center also sells gift cards for dozens of stores at no additional fee. It’s a great place to find those last minute gifts on your list.

 

2. Just a  reminder there is no school tomorrow, Dec. 23 for BLOCKS preschool students. Framingham Public School and the Christa McAuliffe Charter School students will have a half day on Friday, before the start of the holiday vacation.

3. The Framingham Planning Board meeting scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.

5. The elevators at the Framingham commuter rail station were to have closed today, but the scheduled maintenance has been rescheduled for Dec. 27.
