FRAMINGHAM – The temperature is zero this morning, with a windchill of minus-15.
With the Arctic cold temperatures, Framingham Public Schools made the decision Thursday morning to have a 2-hour delayed opening today, Dec. 16. The Christa McAuliffe Charter School will also start 2 hours later. Marian High will start on time.
Temperatures are expected to increase later today, and forecasters predict that by Sunday, we could see temperatures in the 50s – yes the 50s. Springtime in December will be short lived.
And in between these frigid temperatures and that forecasted 50 degrees, expect snow.
The National Weather Service in Boston is forecasting 3 to 6 inches of snow for Framingham, and MetroWest on Saturday.
