5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Tuesday, December 13

1 Today is the opening of the Thinking Money exhibit at the Framingham Public Library.

Stop by at 6:30 p.m. at the main Framingham Library to walk through the traveling exhibit designed to teach teen and their families about money. After tours, there will be a Fianncial Jeopardy game and refreshments.


2. Framingham School Committee is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in King Elementary School. On the agenda is the announcement of the 13-member search committee to hire a new superintendent of schools. Click here to read the job description.

3. Framingham Selectmen are scheduled to meet tonight at 7 in the Memorial Building.



  • Tonight is the home opener for the Framingham High girls ice hockey team. Puck drops at 4:15 p.m. at Loring Arena.

  • Tonight is the home opener for the Framingham High boys basketball team. Tip-off is at 6:30 p.m.
  • The Framingham High girls basketball team has a scrimmage against Watertown High at 4:30 p.m.


5. The Framingham Council on Aging has its monthly meeting at 1:30 p.m. at the Callahan Center.

Stop by the Heritage Gallery before or after the meeting. It is open today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. full of crafts, arts, jewelry, prints and more to purchase.
