1 CHRISTA MCAULIFFE MEMORIAL: The public is invited to the Christa McAuliffe Library branch today for the unveiling of a memorial installation of images and words to honor the first teacher in space and Framingham native Christa McAuliffe. The event starts at 2 p.m.

2. SKATE: Loring Arena will be open for public skating this afternoon from 2 to 3:45 p.m. Admission (cash only) is $5 for adults and children age 12 and under $3. All children age 12 and under must have a parent. Skate rental is available for an additional $5.

3.VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL DEDICATION:Today, the public is invited to the unveiling of a new Vietnam Veterans Memorial at the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority on Blandin Avenue at noon.



4 SEASON OF HEALING: Open Spirit Center in Saxonville will present a Season of Healing: Healing Through Gratitude today from 4 to 5:30 p.m. with Father Don Pachuta and Rabbi Katy Allen.  A season of Healing, is a series of community gatherings to foster conversation and understanding, grounded in a variety of spiritual practices. “Thanksgiving is the perfect time to reflect on gratitude. Many people have experienced anxiety and worry these last weeks, and had nowhere to express their feelings. Gratitude heals, and can calm anxieties and fears, regardless of their source,” states the release from Open Spirit. All are welcome to attend.
