2. The main Framingham Library and Danforth Art have partnered to present a story-craft workshop today at 3 p.m  Join museum staff as they look at an art reproduction from their permanent collection, read a thematically related book and finish with a simple art-making activity. This month: Space Man, West End by Jules Aarons and Not a Box by Antoinette Portis.

3. The Bobby Watson Band will take the stage tonight at Amazing Things in downtown Framingham. Music starts at 8. Tickets are $15. Seniors and students $14, members $12 and children 12 and under $8. Bring your dancing shoes.

 

 

4. Slice of New York in Nobscot will be closed today, so it can install a grease trap.

 

5. Concerts return to The Verve Crowne Plaza in Natick tonight at the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies will perform a unique mix of swing and ska, while incorporating a traditional jazz influence. The band’s well-known hits include  “Zoot Suit Riot” and “The Ding-Dong Daddy of the D-Car Line.” Music starts at 9 p.m. doors open at 7.
