FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Coalition hosted a debate with the trio of candidates running for the 7th Middlesex state representative seat at the community center on Pusan Road on Wednesday night.
The three candidates are looking to represent Ashland and one-third of the Precincts in Framingham, who are currently served by Ashland Democrat Tom Sannicandro. Sannicandro announced in November 2015 he would not seek re-election.
The three candidates are Yolanda Greaves, a Republican from Ashland; Jack Patrick Lewis a Democrat from Framingham; and Clifford Wilson, a non-party affiliated candidate from Ashland.
Framingham Coalition Executive Director Bob Davis moderated the debate.
The Coalition is neighborhood-based and resident-driven, and builds upon the existing strengths of families and the community, facilitates partnerships with supportive resources and services for the purposes of strengthening families, eliminating child abuse and neglect, and building a healthier community.
Framingham State Representative Chris Walsh, who represents 11 Precincts in Framingham, explain to the audience the role of a state representative.
