Since its launch in 2010, the 5K4Kids has raised more than $400,000 to help children, young adults and families in Wayside’s community. Staff and teams are allowed to use 100% of the funds raised to help kids and families in their programs.
Last year, for example, 76 teens at Wayside campus received holiday gifts, 138 families received gift cards for clothing and food, and 51 young adults received bus passes. Let’s make this year even more successful!
This year’s 5K has over 300 runners/walkers registered, and we have raised more than $100,000 prior to the event, breaking our own record.
This event is open to the public.
