Walpole High Grad Named New Framingham High Girls Ice Hockey Coach

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham High athletic department announced the hiring of a new girls varsity ice hockey coach today, Oct. 17.

Mitch Mortali was named coach by Athletic Director Paul Spear.

Mortali is a Walpole High School graduate, a longtime Walpole and Ashland varsity hockey assistant coach, and the current junior varsity field hockey coach at Ashland High.

“Coach Mortali brings a real passion for ice hockey and a lot of youthful enthusiasm to the girls’ hockey program at Framingham High,” said Spear.

Mortali currently works as a teacher in the Ashland Public School system.
