Framingham Youth Hockey Player Skates at Boston Bruins Rink Of Dreams

BOSTON – Huy Burnham, who plays with Framingham Youth Hockey, was chosen to attend the Boston Bruins Rink of Dreams earlier this month.

At the Sunday, October 2 event, presented by Hallmark Health System, 80 youth hockey players from the New England area participated in an hour-long hockey clinic at TD Garden.

Burnham participated in a skill session lead by Bruins alumni Tommy Songin, Andy Brickley, and Bob Beers, followed by a short game on the ice.

The event was for youth hockey players in Mite, Squirt, Pee Wee, or Bantam programs.

Burnham is a fourth grade student at McCarthy Elementary School in Framingham.

The Boston Bruins open their season Thursday night, Oct. 13, on the road against Columbus.

The first home game of the season is Thursday, Oct. 20 against the New Jersey Devils at 7 p.m. at the Garden.
