Framingham State Men’s Cross Country Places 7th at Tri-State Invitational

LINCOLN, RI – The Framingham State University men’s cross country team was led by senior Dan Stevens, a Holliston High graduate, who crossed the line in 16th place as the Rams placed 7th at the Tri-State Cross Country Invitational hosted by CCRI on Saturday morning.

Stevens, the Rams leading finisher, completed the 8K course in a time of 30:20 which was just 15 seconds ahead of the Rams second finisher classmate Richie Wertz.Wertz cross the line in 30:35.

Rounding out the field for the Rams the Rams were senior Adam Meltzer, who finished in 34:50, junior Michael Ferris, who crossed in 38:16 and sophomore John Nephew  who finished the course in a time of 44:23.

The Rams are back in action Saturday at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State University.
