Heritage at Framingham Senior Living is hosting a free seminar titled: Downsizing & Selling – from Daunting to DONE on Thursday, September 29.
The event starts at 5:30 p.m. at Heritage of Framingham, located at 747 Water Street in the Nobscot section of town.
This informative seminar is open to the public and designed especially for seniors and baby boomers.
Moving can be overwhelming for almost anyone, however seniors have special needs when dealing with a lifetime of possessions. Even if you are not planning to move, most of us simply have too much “stuff’. Living in a cluttered home is more stressful and can even be dangerous.
This is also a lifestyle seminar focused on simplifying your home environment and your life. If your home is too large or expensive for your current situation, then this free event is for you.
At the seminar you will learn: How to downsize & manage a lifetime of possessions, How to hire a Realtor, and How to sell a home in any condition. Find out how to price your home and about local real estate market trends. Attendees leave with a Free Downsizing Guide and practical tips.
The speaker is David J. Dowd, the founder of a unique realty company called Sell Mom’s House which specializes in helping seniors to discover the many resources available to help them transition. Mr. Dowd is a lifelong entrepreneur who also “flips” houses and is a realtor with Keller Williams Realty.
Heritage at Framingham is a small non-profit senior living community. It is the Independent, Assisted and Memory Care component of the Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Corp.
