1 Several Framingham schools will hold its first PTO meeting of the school year. They include:

  • McCarthy Elementary 7 p.m.
  • Potter Road Elementary 7 p.m.
  • Stapleton Elementary 7 p.m.
  • BLOCKS preschool 7:30 p.m.

Fuller Middle School is hosting an open house tonight from 6:30 to 8:30.


2. La Cantina Italiana restaurant on Route 135, as part of its 70th anniversary celebration, will offer one item on its menu today for $5 between 4 and 6 p.m.


3. MUSTANGS in action:

  • Girls soccer hosts Matignon at 3:30 p.m. at Merchant Field
  • Boys soccer has a road game against Matignon at 3:30 p.m.

  • Boys and girls cross-country teams host Newton North, Wellesley & Walpole for a meet at 3:45 p.m. at Farm Pond
  • Field hockey hosts Braintree at 3:45 p.m. at Phil Read Field
  • Boys soccer hosts Braintree High at 3:45 p.m. at Framingham High
  • Girls soccer travels to Braintree High for a 3:45 p.m. game
  • Girls volleyball travels to Braintree for a 4 p.m. match
  • Coed-golf team has a match against Braintree High



4. The main Framingham Library is hosting a free screening of the documentary Weiner (Rated R) tonight at 7 in the Coston room. The documentary is an examination of disgraced New York Congressman Anthony Weiner’s catastrophic race for Mayor of New York City in 2013, as the real-time story of his second sexting scandal explodes. Refreshments will be served.


5. On Sunday, members of the Masjid-E-Basheer Islamic Society of Framingham provided gift bags for all the Framingham firefighters for their service to the community.
