By Henry & Mitch Goldberg

The 6th grade Flyers team got off to a rocky start, turning the ball over on the first possession due to a fumble.  They quickly turned it around, however, with an impressive 25-yard run setting up a 2-yard run for a touchdown.   Both runs were carried by #35, Anthony Dempsey.  Framingham also succeed on the extra point, making it 7 to nothing at the half.

The second half started with a pair of turnovers, first Framingham’s #8, Keith Campbell, recovered a fumble, but right after that Natick’s #32 made a diving interception.  Natick was able to capitalize on this turnover, with a long run into the endzone, but it got called back for a holding penalty. Natick attempted a screen pass but #12 on Framingham tipped it away, allowing the Flyers to get the ball back, leading to a 7-yard touchdown by Dempsey.

Framingham took a knee in the final seconds of the game, shutting out Natick, 13-0.
