5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Thursday, August 11

1 The Framingham History Center continues its 4th Annual Summertime on the Centre Common programming today with Knucklebones. The free show starts at 10:30 a.m. at historic Village Hall. The performance is great for preschool-age kids and their families.


2. Afterwards stop by the Framingham Farmers’ Market, which will be open today from noon to 5:30 p.m. on the Framingham Centre Common. This week’s vendors include: Hanson’s Farm, Silvia’s Farm, Flats Mentor Farm, Shamrock Hives Farm, Great Harvest Bread, Velma’s Kettle Corn, When Life Gives You Lemons, Captain Marden Fish, Dulce D. Leche, Yummy Mummy Brownie, OMG Bagels,
and Pure Essentials. Atlantis Dental will be on site. Renewal Anderson will be distributing veggie dollars and the Framingham Board of Health’s medical reserves will have a booth.


3. The Framingham Public Library will host game night tonight at 7 at the main Framingham Library.


4. Tonight is the final swim meet of the season for the Framingham Parks & Recreation’s co-ed swim team. The Framingham Frogs, who are 9-1, will travel to Needham for a 5;30 p.m. with the Sharks.


5. Plan ahead: Tomorrow night is the final Concert on the Common. Music starts at 6:30 p.m.
