5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Friday, July 29

1 Grab your umbrella when heading out the door today. Rain is forecasted off and on all day. Today is also the first day in more than a week that temperatures will not reach 90 degrees or higher.


2. Tonight’s summer concert on the common is in jeopardy due to the weather. The concert is scheduled for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Framingham Centre Common.


3. Today is the first of a two-day cheesecake celebration at the Cheesecake Factory at the Natick Mall. As part of National Cheesecake Day, the restaurant will offer “any slice at half price today and tomorrow, July 30. The offer is valid for dine-in service only.


4.  Amazing Things Arts Center in Framingham will host a performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Shit-Faced Shakespeare tonight at 8. Tickets are still available for the show recommended, for those age 16 or older. Tickets are $20 for adults and $17 for members. 5. Just a reminder, municipal offices will close at 1 p.m. today. The Callahan Center will close at 1:30 p.m.
