FRAMINGHAM – Boston Medflight brought a helicopter to Framingham yesterday, July 26, for a training session with the Framingham Fire Department, said Deputy Fire Chief Kevin Burns.
Framingham trains with the medical helicopter paramedics every 1-2 years, said Burns.
Boston MedFlight provides critical care treatment for patients in emergency situations from emergency locations to hospitals.
Boston MedFlight is a nonprofit organization that provides transport to the sickest of the sick regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. The organization provides helicopter, airplane, and ground transport.
Framingham “has frequent interactions” with Boston Medflight said Deputy Chief Burns.
