Framingham and Sudbury Fire Department are battling a brush fire on the town line, near the Nobscot Reservation, owned by the Framingham Boy Scouts.
The fire started this evening, July 20. More than an acre is burning. The property is more than 475 acres, however.
Engines 4 and 7 are on the scene from Framingham. Crews have been on the scene since just after 4 p.m.
The Commonwealth’s forest fire division, District 14, is also assisting. Framingham is part of the district.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
Because of the location of the fire, it is hard to get equipment and water to the location.
