First Parish in Framingham recently held a conference to discuss the benefit of a future commitment to renewable energy sources, specifically offshore wind.
The Conference featured Ann Berwick, former Massachusetts undersecretary for energy and Amber Hewett, the campaign coordinator for the National Wildlife Federation.
“Climate Change is theft,” said Rev. Fred Small, to a crowd of about 75 individuals.
“We are growing over reliant on natural gas,” said the director of Clean Energy Initiative Peter Shattuck.
“Some wind is better than others,” said Hewett. We have amazing wind.”
