Attempted Abduction Suspect Held Without Bail At Dangerousness Hearing

FRAMINGHAM – A Framingham District Court judge ruled that a Rhode Island man is a danger to the public. on Friday, June 24.

Judge Jennifer Stark ordered Robert Toney, 25, of 54 Anchor Street in Providence, R.I. being held without bail until his trial. No trial date was set.

On Monday, authorities said Toney approached a teen girl, 14, of Framingham and asked her if she would have sex for money, near Olive Garden in Shoppers World.

When the girl said no, he grabbed the girl and began pulling her. A witness called police.

Toney, who was driving a vehicle with Texas plates, took off frm Shoppers World. He was pulled over a couple of hours later in Sherborn. Framingham Police arrested him Monday night and charged him with enticement of a child under age 16.
