Sixteen MBTA Commuter rail trains, including a couple on the Framingham/Worcester line, were cancelled on Father’s Day.
Keolis, who oversees the commuter rail system, cancelled the trains due to staffing issues.
The cancellations left more than 500 riders stranded.
The staffing issue is not expected to affect service on Monday, said officials.
A full crew was given time off after a man was struck and killed by a commuter rail train in Franklin on Saturday.
