For the first time since September 2015, the Friends of the Framingham Library held a book sale at the main Framingham Library today, June 18.
With the main Framingham Library closed since mid-October due to an electrical explosion, the non-profit group had been unable to hold book sales. It held one book sale at the new Christa McAuliffe Library in May, before the grand re-opening of the main library on June 11.
But there is good news for lovers of books, the Friends, who usually do not hold sales in the summer, will old sales this year in both July and August.
The Friends host the book sales on the third Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Members of the friends can shop early at 9:30 a.m.
Want to help the Friends?
