Framingham Superintendent Announces Lone Finalist For Fuller Middle Principal

Dr. Stacy L. Scott, Superintendent of Schools, is pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Jose

Duarte as the finalist for the Fuller Middle School principal opening.

“I was impressed by Mr. Duarte’s extensive educational experience totaling close to thirty years of which the last twenty years

have been in a building leadership capacity,” commented Dr. Scott. Mr. Duarte is currently serving

as the Principal at the John W. McCormack Middle School in Dorchester, MA. Within the Boston

Public Schools, Mr. Duarte has also served as a teacher, Assistant Principal, Cluster Leader, and

Operational Leader. He holds advanced degrees from Eastern Nazarene College and Bridgewater

State University. A native of Cape Verde, he is also fluent in Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole and

English. Staff members are invited to meet with Mr. Duarte on Monday, June 20th from 5:30 – 6:30

p.m. at Fuller Middle School. Fuller Community members are invited to meet Mr. Duarte on

Monday June 20th from 7:00- 8:00 p.m. at Fuller Middle School. Dr. Stacy L. Scott welcomes staff

and community members’ input on finalist Jose Duarte for the Fuller Middle School principal.
