UPDATE: Child Struck By Vehicle Near Soccer Field

A child was struck by a vehicle near the Merchant Road soccer fields Thursday night, June 2.

The boy, age unknown, was conscious and alert at the scene, according to witnesses.

Framingham Police Lt. Stephen Cronin said the boy suffered a head injury, and was transported to the hospital by Framingham Fire.

Friday morning, Lt. Cronin said the boy had “minor injuries” and was treated and released from the hospital.

The boy was struck by a black camry, according to Police.

The crash is under investigation by Framingham Police.
