FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High boys volleyball team scored the first 13 points of game one, on their way to a 3-0 sweep of Burncoat Tuesday night, in a quarterfinal match of the MIAA Central volleyball tournament.
The Flyers defeated the #10 seed from Worcester 25-7, 25-15, and 25-21.
The Flyers, now 18-1, and seeded #2 in the tournament, advance to the semifinal round in the state post-season tournament.
Framingham will host #6 Algonquin, who defeated Natick 3-2 on Tuesday.
The match is Friday, June 3 at 7 p.m. at Framingham High
The Flyers, who are the Bay State League champions, defeated Algonguin earlier this season 3-0 in April.
