UPDATE: Flyers Upset Eagles in MIAA Tourney
The Framingham High Schools boys lacrosse team won its 10th game of the season Tuesday by upsetting #15 seed Plymouth North.
The Flyers, seeded #18 in the MIAA Division 1 South tournament, defeated the Eagles 11-6, on the road, yesterday, May 31.
The win means the Flyers move into the opening round of the state tournament and will now face #2 seed Catholic Memorial on Thursday, June 2. Game time is 7 p.m.
Yesterday, sophomore Will Luz and senior Tyler Anes each scored three goals to lead the Flyers. Senior Brett Chin scored two goals in the victory. The Flyers now have a record of 10-9.
