Report: Framingham Public Schools Could Add 500+ Students in 5 Years

Framingham Public Schools released a report that shows the public schools district could see an increase of 518 students over the next five years.

Research from the New England School Development Council said Framingham has seen a rise in enrollment and that is expected to continue.

The latest report said Framingham added 219 new K-12 students in 2015 and 148 students from January through March of 2016.

“The biggest compliment to our district is that more parents want to send their children to our schools,” said Framingham Superintendent of Schools Stacy Scott in a press release.
