The Friends of the Framingham Library held its first book sale in more than six months on Sunday, May 1, at the Christa McAuliffe Library branch.
The sales were put on hold after an electrical explosion closed the main Framingham Library in October. The main library is expected to re-open after Memorial Day.
The book sale room at the new library branch in Nobscot was packed from the moment the doors opened at 1 p.m.
At this time, the Friends still are not accepting donations, but will resume that process when the main library opens.
