MARLBOROUGH – The City of Marlborough reported 16 new coronavirus positive cases since Sunday, and one new COVID-19 death.

The 16 news cases represent a 1.78% increase in COVID-19 cases in the last 48 hours.

Marlborough now has a total of 912 positive cases since the pandemic began.

The City of Marlborough has had a total of 38 deaths due to COVID-19 or complications from the coronavirus since the pandemic began.

The good news is that 615 individuals have recovered from the virus.

It is unknown how many individuals have been tested in the city of almost 40,000 people.

About 2% of the City’s residents have tested positive for the virus.

Middlesex County has the most positive cases, at more than 20,000.

Framingham has the most cases in MetroWest, with more than 1,600 COVID-19 positive cases.

Marlborough is second.

The City of Framingham is also among the top 10 communities with coronavirus cases in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
