FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police has summonsed an individual, after a security guard was “struck” by a patient, said the Framingham Police spokesperson.

The incident happened at 5 p.m. on March 1 at 115 Lincoln Street in the emergency room of Framingham Union Hospital.

“A patient struck a security guard,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Rachel Mickens. “The person is being summonsed.”

The guard suffered minor injuries.
