Framingham Police: Driver Strikes 2 Pedestrians in Crosswalk & Takes Off

FRAMINGHAM – Over the weekend, a driver struck two men in a crosswalk and took off, said Framingham Police.

The incident happened on Saturday, February 25 at 2 a.m. at the intersection of Route 126 and Park Street in downtown Framingham.

“This was a hit & run,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

“Two males were struck by a vehicle while in the crosswalk,” said Lt. Mickens.

Framingham Police and Framingham Fire Ladder 3, Ambulance 1, Ambulance 3 and Field Supervisor 3 responded to the area of 42 Concord St for pedestrians struck by a motor vehicle,.

Firefighters from Ladder 3 assisted Ambulance 3 with a male, 21, with a “mild head laceration,” said Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.

Ambulance 3 transported to him Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, said Chief Dutcher.

Firefighters from Ladder 3 also assisted Ambulance 1 with a male, 32, with “moderate back of head injury,” said Chief Dutcher.

Ambulance 1 transported him UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, said Chief Dutcher.

“The vehicle did not remain on scene and is described as a black sedan, possibly a BMW,” said the Police spokesperson.
