BOSTON – Bay State Conference rivals Natick & Framingham High battled it out at the Reggie Lewis Center on Thursday, January 12.
The Redhawks took the victory 46-41.
Natick’s Yan De la Rosa won the first event in 6.78 seconds. Framingham’s Jose Micheli and Jo Ssejjemba-SSonko finished second and third in 7.17 and 7.19 seconds in the dash.
After one event, Natick had a slight 5-4 lead.
The Flyers swept the 300-meter event to take a 13-5 lead.
Matheus Silva was on the event in 40.11 seconds, with Jasen jean-Louis second in 40.18 seconds and Vinicius Silva third.

Framingham extended its lead to 21-6, when the Flyers finished one-two in the 600-meter event.
Trevor Lipp crossed the finish line first in 1:30.66 minutes with Nathan Desmarais second. Natick’s Nick Fernandes was third.
Natick closed the gap by finished first & second in the 1,000-meter event. William Kidd won the event in 2:47.78 minutes. Sebastian Vickers was second.
Flyer Andrew Feinblatt was third in 3:01.94 minutes.
Natick took a 23-22 lead in the meet when the Redhawks swept the mile event.
Brian Arthur won the event in 4:51.71 minutes. Joe Vogel was second with William Catching third.
Framingham entered no high jumpers, and Natick only had one high jumper Dylan Weddle, who won the event with a leap of 5 feet and 7 inches.
Natick extended its lead to 28-22 and never relinquished it the rest of the meet.
Redhawk Drew Waldron won the long jump with a leap of 18 feet and 8.75 inches. Flyer Jasen Jean-Louis captured second place with a leap of 18 feet and 6 inches.
Framingham’s Christian Marshall, won the high hurdles event in 8.87 seconds. Natick’s Emerson Davis finished second in 9.18 seconds.
Natick won both the relay events.
And neither team had a runner in the 2-mile event.
