FRAMINGHAM – After 20-plus years with the Framingham Police, Detective David Carlo has retired.

Detective Carlo first worked with the Belmont Police Department before transferring to Framingham in 2002.

He was promoted to Detective in 2017 and retired January 11, 2023, posted Framingham Police on social media today, January 13.

During his time with the Department Detective Carlo served as a patrol officer on various shifts, was assigned to the Motor Unit, and served as the FPOU President.

Detective Carlo completed his career in Framingham assigned to the Detective Bureau.

“He has served honorably with his fellow officers and will be remembered for his commitment to the community and the Commonwealth. We wish him all the best in his retirement,” posted Framingham Police on social media.
