1 The storm will bring a lot of rain, warm temperatures – in the 50s – and high winds. The high wind watch is in effect until 7 a.m. Saturday.

Eversource says it is ready for power outages, that could come due to the storm.

Temperatures are expected to drop significantly this weekend. Temperatures will in the 20s for December 24 & 25.

2. Today is the last day of school before the winter break. Schools re-open on Tuesday, January 3.

3. City Hall will close today at 2 p.m. Starting next Friday, December 30, City Hall will close at 12:30 p.m.

  • Framingham High swim team has a meet today at Clark University at 6;30 p.m. against St. John ‘s of Shrewsbury. The boys are 2-0 on the season.
  • Framingham High girls basketball team lost last night and now are 3-2 on the season.
  • Framingham High girls & boys track teams lost yesterday at the Reggie Lewis Center. Boys teams are 0-2 on the season. SOURCE will have individual results last today.
