Learning Center For Deaf Names Davison Community Clinical Director

FRAMINGHAM – The Learning Center for the Deaf has welcomed Selah Davison, LICSW, as Community Clinical Director for its behavioral health services program, Walden Community Services (WCS).

Selah joins TLC with more than 20 years of experience in advocacy, psychotherapy and consultation. She holds a Master’s in Social Work: Innovation, Community, & Policy, and has a passion for workforce and community development to promote employee excellence, social equality & disability rights. 

As Community Clinical Director, Selah will provide overall guidance to the WCS’s quality of care, compliance, and direct services. 

“We are most excited to welcome Selah to TLC,” said WCS Director Elisa Valles. “In addition to providing direct clinical supervision, Selah will bring her tremendous background in leadership, coaching and strategic planning to help foster and grow our team.”

Prior to joining TLC, Selah successfully engineered and implemented a clinical internship program for the Deaf and hard of hearing at Felton Institute. She also presented at the 2022 ADARA conference, with a focus on post-traumatic stress disorder and neuroplasticity training.

When she is not working, Selah enjoys hiking or camping and with her family, attending jazz concerts, and journal scrapbooking,

Walden Community Services offers individualized, wraparound programs for families with a deaf or hard of hearing child or adult. Services include Intensive Care Coordination/Family Support and Training, In-Home Therapy and Therapeutic Mentoring; and Stabilization.
