NATICK – Esther (Lunder) Eckman, 95 of Natick passed away peacefully on December 4, 2022. 

Esther was a volunteer for the American red cross before graduating from Salem State College, earning her bachelor’s degree.

After getting married she started her family and raised her two sons. In her working career Esther served as a substitute teacher, performed office work, and continued with volunteering.

In her retirement Esther pursued many interests including literacy volunteer work.

Esther’s most special quality was her never ending enthusiasm, rain, or shine, for any worthy cause that she got involved in. 

Esther is predeceased by her husband, Harold Eckman and is survived by her son Steven, of Uxbridge and many other relatives.

A private ceremony was held in Natick.
