FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced four more COVID-19 fatalities today, Monday, May 11.
That is 14 deaths in the last four days.
In total, there have been 56 deaths due to COVID-19 or complications from the virus.
The City also reported 58 new positive coronavirus cases today.
The City now has had 1,282 individuals test positive since the pandemic began.

The good news is 401 individual have recovered.
The city now has 825 active cases as of today.
In addition to the active cases, the Framingham Health Department currently is following 293 residents in quarantine.

It is unknown how many individuals have been tested for the virus in Framingham.
There are more than 70,000 residents in the City of Framingham.
The City said via its spokesperson it does not have “Framingham-specific information on how many of our residents are being tested. The state receive statewide information from all testing labs on the number of tests conducted each day. We, nor any individual community, receive community-specific information from any testing lab.”
Health Director Sam Wong told the Board of Health that several who have tested positive are asymptomatic.
Framingham has the most cases in MetroWest.
