SPRINGFIELD – Western New England University held its undergraduate commencement ceremony on May 21 in the Anthony S. Caprio Alumni Healthful Living Center, celebrating the Class of 2022.

The keynote speaker Nick Newell (’08), a professional Mixed Martial Artist, talked about the power of dedication. “To be great, you must be willing to do things others will not so you can achieve things that others can’t.” He told the class of 2022 that they have proven their resiliency and encouraged them to continue chasing their goals.

Thomas Patrick Smith of Natick graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Information Technology. Thomas also graduated with a minor in Computer Forensics..
