FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police are reminding residents once again to not leave a wallet or purse in their vehicle, after a wallet was stolen from an unlocked motor vehicle on Monday, August 8.

The motor vehicle breaking & entering and theft was reported on Monday at 3:32 p.m. at 300 Howard Street.

The vehicle was unlocked, said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

Stolen from the vehicle was a wallet, said Lt. Mickens.

A credit card in the wallet was charged about $300, said Lt. Mickens.

Police remind residents to always lock their vehicles when parked.

Residents should not leave any valuables in the vehicle and if anything of valuable is left in the vehicle it should not be in plain sight, said police.

Police have no suspects in this vehicle breakin & theft.
