NATICK – Janet “Dolly” (Franciose) Lodi, 91 of Natick passed peacefully at home with her loving family on July 28, 2022. 

Dolly was the beloved wife of the late Anthony “Tony” Lodi with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. 

A resident of Natick for 91 years, she was the daughter of Late Michael Francoise and Candita Guglielmino.

Dolly was also the sister of late Anne Chiarello of San Jose, California.

Dolly was a member of the Natick High graduating class of 1949, where she participated in sports as well as, being a drum majorette.

Dolly worked in the decorating business for over 55 years. 

She was employed by C&T Wallpaper & Paint, as well as, Debsan’s Decorating for 35 years.  She enjoyed helping her customers with their decorating needs. 

Dolly had a keen eye for color and wallpaper design. 

She worked in the business she loved and retired at 82 due to her long battle with kidney disease.

Dolly and Tony discovered Ogunquit, Maine and fell in love with the Maine seacoast.  She enjoyed many years of vacationing in the area with her two boys, as well as, her grandchildren.

Dolly is survived her 2 sons, Richard Lodi and his wife Pamela of Marlborough and Carl Lodi and his wife Barbara of Natick.  Dolly also leaves behind three grand children Carissa Lodi Jenkins of Westborough, Mathew Lodi of Natick and Michael Lodi of Hudson, as well as, four loving great grand children Hadley, Avery, Harper and Connor.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Monday August 1 from 8 to 9:30 am from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church at 10 a.m.followed by interment at St. Patrick Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Fresenius Dialysis Center in Framingham for the dedicated care that they provide Janet for over 11 years.
