FRAMINGHAM – Last Tuesday, June 21, the Framingham City Council unanimously approved Jennifer Rich for another 3-year term on the Framingham Council on Aging.

Rich is from District 1. Her term will now end on June 30, 2025.

She has worked with older adults in the Framingham area since 2006. Currently, Rich is the Director of Resident Services at Shillman House in Framingham.

The Framingham Council on Aging’s mission is to understand, support, strengthen and improve the lives of the diverse residents of Framingham who are 55 or older through advocacy, communication, and collaboration.

Mayor Charlie Sisitsky nominated Rich to the Council for another term.

The Council on Aging shall consist of not less than 7 nor more than 11 members. All members shall serve without compensation. The mayor shall appoint all members of the board. Members are required to be residents of Framingham.

The Chair of the Council on Aging is Clyde Dottin, whose term ends on June 30,2023.

There are 4 seats on the Council then end on June 30,2022.
