FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Traffic Commission approved no parking signage on Dennison Avenue during its May 16 meeting. The vote was 6-0.
On the east side of Dennison Avenue, parking signs between 37 and 31 Dennison will be updated with directional arrows.
A new restriction will be made on the west side extending 50 feet north from the corner with Dennison Way. (Map below)
In a memo read during the meeting, Commission Chair Bill Sedewitz wrote “I believe this no parking area would improve the sightlines for vehicles exiting Dennison Way while minimizing the loss of on-street parking.”
“We have a solution that a lot of us are happy with,” Dennison Avenue resident Grace Snedden said.
The Commission will hold its next meeting on Monday, June 27. Residents are welcome to attend at 7 p.m. in the Ablondi Room at City Hall or join via Zoom.
