MILTON – The Framingham High girls tennis team won its second consecutive match today, April 13, on the road against the Wildcats of Milton High.
Framingham won 3-2 with all three victories coming in the singles sets.
The Flyers are now 2-1 this season, under head coach Larry Wilbur.
“This was the first win of the season for Jordan Sisitsky, our 1st singles player and consistent effort wins from Christina Avila and Marianne Foy our 2nd and 3rd singles players respectively.,” said the head coach.

Sisitsky, a sophomore, won in first singles 6-0 and 6-2.
Junior Avila won second singles at 6-2 and 6-2.
Junior Foy won third singles 6-0 and 6-0.
Framingham lost both doubles sets.
Olivia Romito, a senior, and Talia Goldvassar, a junior, lost 3-6 and 1-6.
Seniors Ella Downey and Mei Cable lost second doubles 5-7, 6-4, 6-7.
The tennis team has a break for school vacation weekl.
“We will be facing some of the top Bay State teams when we return from break so this has been a good confidence builder for us,” said Coach Wilbur.
