FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police Chief Lester Baker was the guest speaker at the April Framingham Business Association meeting this afternoon, April 13.

Chief Baker talked about crime throughout the city, staffing of the police department, downtown issues, panhandlers, community policing, walking beats, and more.

Chief Baker was introduced by Framingham Business Association President Chris Connolly, of Connolly Auto Group (The two are pictured in the photo above).

The lunch meeting was held at La Cantina restaurant on Route 135 in Framingham, and was attended by more than 50 people.

Also in attendance was Mayor Charlie Sisitsky and his wife Robin Kaye and Framingham Chief Operating Officer Michael Tusino.

Framingham City Council Chair Phil Ottaviani Jr., Vice Chair Janet Leombruno, and District 8 Councilor John Stefanini were in attendance as was School Committee Chair Priscila Sousa and District 3 School Committee member Jennifer Moshe.

About 10-12 individuals attended their first-ever Framingham Business Association meeting today.

The Association is offering free membership for all Framingham owned-businesses in 2022.
