ASHLAND – The 3rd Annual Barberry Removal Day will take place in Ashland on Saturday April 2.

The event starts at Town Forest Rain Garden at 128 Oak Street at 9 a.m.
Meet at the entrance of the Town Forest and work will begin on the the barberries in that area.
To protect yourself from the thorns, you should wear old heavy pants, a long-sleeved shirt, boots and gloves, and bring your second favorite shovel. Insect repellent and drinking water is also a good idea.
