The Framingham Public Library will also host a virtual author talk tonight with the author of Rebel Girls at 7 p.m.
2. The U.S. Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources is expected to vote on the nomination of Framingham State Representative Maria Robinson to head the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Electricity on Tuesday, March 8 – one month after the Committee held its first hearing to consider her nomination by President Joseph Biden.
Rep. Robinson, once confirmed by the full U.S. Senate, would head the Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability within the United States Department of Energy.

5. Flyers in Action:
- The Framingham High girls basketball team, seeded #16 in the MIAA tourney, defeated Natick High Friday night to advance in the tournament. It was the Flyers first playoff win since 2007. Framingham will now play the #1 seed Andover on March 8 at 6:30 p.m. in Andover. Tickets must be purchased online.
