Noah Albright scored in the third to cut the lead to 3-2, but the Flyers could not get the tying goal.

Framingham had a late chance going on the power play with about 45 seconds left in the game, but in the end Braintree took the victory.

The good news for the night is the Flyers Hockey Fights Cancer event raised more than $2,600 dollars for pediatric cancer research.

Framingham is back on the ice against the Raiders of Wellesley High on Saturday.
