Ashland Calls Snow Day For Second Time This Week

ASHLAND – Ashland has called its second snow day this week.

Forecast has snow, sleet, icy, and rain and the worst is expected between 4 and 8 a.m.

“Based on the most recent report from our weather service, and the projected timeframe for freezing rain and sleet tomorrow morning and throughout the day, the Ashland Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, February 4, 2022,” wrote Assistant Superintendent of Schools Michael Caira.

“We recognize this is another challenging day for families, but we believe this decision is in the best interest of the safety of our students, faculty and staff,” wrote Caira to families around 9:30 p.m.
