FRAMINGHAM – A new restaurant is coming to the Coburnville-Tripoli neighborhood in Framingham.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Mi Cocina Mexicana would close at 740 Waverley Street, as the owners chose not to renew their common victualler license which is required in the City of Framingham to operate a restaurant.

But a new restaurant will open in its place on Route 135. The restaurant is called El Cuscatelco Pupuseria & y Restaurante.

It is unknown at this time, when it will open, but the new common victualler license was approved this month by the Framingham License Commission.

The report on license renewals with the Framingham License Commission indicated more than $14,000 in water/sewer bills were due before the common vic license could be issued.
